Become a Part of the Spectrum Team with Guaranteed Hours!
Here at Spectrum Autism Services, LLC, we work hard to create a team environment that nurtures the development of our staff as well as our clients. As a part of our team, you will receive the training and supervision necessary to become nationally certified as a Registered Behavior Technician. We also offer supervision to individuals pursuing certification as a BCBA or BCaBA.
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide direct services for an assigned schedule of clients. RBTs will be responsible for executing direct client care and assisting in the management of client and family relationships.
Key Aspects of this Role Include:
Client Treatment
- Implement behavior intervention plans in one-on-one sessions with clients both in the home and in the community
- Complete session notes that align with insurance carrier requirements for each billed treatment session
- Cover client sessions for other direct care staff as needed/as available (e.g., vacation, illness, etc.)
- Collaborate in a professional manner with service providers including educational team, medical professionals, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, etc.
Data Collection
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all program and behavior data, including recording daily data at the end of every treatment session into online data sheet
- Submit complete and accurate session notes during designated week/day to office administrative staff on a monthly basis
Administrative
- Handle sensitive issues with integrity, with assigned supervisor or with the assistance of Human Resources.
- Work collaboratively with Spectrum Autism Services Administrative Staff to assist in client records management
- Attend and actively participate in monthly meetings as required (e.g., all-staff/training)
- Record time accurately and submit timesheets before weekly deadline (by 11:59 pm EST every Saturday)
- Maintain all required certifications including, but not limited to RBT, CPR/First Aid, HWC, etc
- Ensure personal information/documentation remains current and up to date information is shared with administrative personnel prior to expiration of sensitive documents (e.g., car insurance, physical address, phone numbers, etc.)
- Attend and participate in company led/supported community outreach events
- Respond to written communications (questions and inquiries) within 24 business hours

Required Experience
- Aligned with the “Spirit of Spectrum” and demonstrates the ability to serve as a role model to other staff members
- Possesses a minimum of a high school diploma, post-secondary education preferred
- RBT Certification with the BACB in good standing OR completion of 40-hour Behavior University training program is mandatory prior to start date
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a criminal background check
